Thank you Max for sharing, lovely pictures again. A beautiful bay horse as well, makes me want to jump on and do some bareback exploring.

Great photo's.
It seemed a very mild winter if spring is here.
I would have expected a few more down pours & a few more drops in temperature.

Lovely photos Max, thank you.

I wanted to spend time in the country last weekend, enjoying and photographing the almond blossom, but the weather was too gloomy for good photos. I have my fingers crossed for this weekend. I will look out for orchids too, it's always a lovely surprise to find them.

It looks, to me, like Friars Cowl.

They are very pretty little flowers. I see lots of them growing in the Avakas Gorge.

This was just to the left, as you face the sea, by our favourite olive tree.

If the forecast for the weekend will be true, then the Sunday should be nice and sunny. Hopefully Saturday's storm front will not blow away most of the almond flowers, but then we need heavy rain soon...
I am not sure why there are more orchids this year on this place than 2017 spring, but I can remember snow last January which they perhaps did not like...
If you want to see fields of orchids than a trip to Androlikou village will surprise you. Half way on the road from there to Neo Chorio on the left hand side of the road...hundreds of orchids.

Thanks Max. I just may have to head up there this weekend, it's been a while since I was up that way anyway. Hopefully Sunday will be nice and sunny as forecast.

Mind, the road (track) might be not very special after heavy rain, which is forecast for tonight and tomorrow... depending which car you are using...
But perhaps the rain is another wishful thinking of the weather forecasters again like in the past ;)

In winter we always carry a shovel in the back of the Pajero, to help us out in the event of any quagmire.

I do have an (ancient) Suzuki escudo 4wd, but driving around on my own I do try to avoid situations where I may get stuck, I don't think I'd get very far on my own with a shovel. Let's see what the weather does, it's nice and gloomy again today....

You won't have a problem with That car.... don't worry... (but today it is very dusty, high levels of PM 10, (280) at the moment in Paphos area.

Yes the dust is nasty today, Mrs W won't be too happy when I collect here from Paphos airport this afternoon. Have a found an app, Air Quailty Cyprus, on iOS app site that display the official air quality data and allows you to set up notification by area etc. Quite handy.
