Just lemon juice on mine, like my Mum used to do them. Wifey (RIP) and daughter, being of Hungarian descent, prefer pancakes with plum jam, cottage cheese and suchlike spread on them

I had to have lemon and sugar, hubby had Maple syrup. Might have to have some more tomorrow delicious.

I love pancakes, this year pancake day was also my birthday so hubby made me some for breakfast. My favourite? Butter, lemon juice and maple syrup. All on there at the same time, melting and gorgeous.

Made a pig of myself eating a stack of pancakes soaked in Maple syrup and cream,,,,dont want to see another pancake for at least a year.
