Moving advice Ref Cars

Hi All

We are moving to Cyprus for 6-12 months to see if we like it, at the moment planning to long term hire a couple of small cars, Any advice expierences would be welcomed, should we rent?, Should we buy? where is best to buy or rent from,

If you look only for "small cars" you will never find out the beauty of Cyprus. To discover the nice countryside of Paphos area you should look for 4x4 types, not to get stuck on your first trip to Akamas for example....

I disagree. You do not need a 4X4, but a car with good ground clearance can come in handy.

Most Rental company's will do a good deal for long term rentals, best way is to go talk to them face to face, they will then take you seriously, most here dont do business via email, in my experience.
