If it moves, they shoot it, hunting area or not.
As Flossie rightly says until they are prepared to enforce the gun laws here nothing much will change.
We wouldn't wish to have a pet dog or cat here, for fear of finding it seriously injured or dead one day.

We had a cat here for around 9 years, but we used to mostly keep it in on shooting days..
We now have a dog, but it will not be left to wonder the countryside..

They shoot their own animals, so someone else's would be fair game to the so called 'hunters'. I can't see their attitude to animals changing any time soon, sickening though it is.
