I doubt if its a question of culture, to fully restore one of these Buses would command a big cash amount with allot of man hours, only if someone could see a profit in it, would someone undertake a project like this....how many people would want to own one?....Happy in Cyprus wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2018 6:47 pm Always a shame to see them rotting away in fields, which I do regularly. There doesn't seem to be a culture in Cyprus of restoring and preserving for posterity old cars and aeroplanes like there is in most other countries. Because once they're gone, they're gone.

The Limassol Museum has other larger vehicles than just cars & is well worth a visit if your interest is in museum pieces.

Re: Vintage Cyprus Buses
There is still one of these type of buses being used around Paphos today.
It goes under the name of George's Fun Bus and it is a really good fun day out for all the family although a bit on the expensive side.
We would recommend it to all you young at heart people!
