Went to my (part time) work today, came home to be greeted by the 'wired to the moon' mongrel Lola Bear. Albeit she is a beautiful mongrel. ❤

Also greeted by my OH who retired 2 years ago and had come home from his (part time) job as a window cleaner He loves it.

But, I cooked him a steak, prepared a salad, garlic mushrooms and home made crinkle cut chips deep fried in a mix of dripping and 'healthy' vegetable oil . . . . . . . Which I believe he enjoyed enormously. Well, he told me so

When I had done the dishes . . . . . . . . . I came through from the the kitchen and announced "Ah well, I have done my duty to God and the Queen.'

Don't know where it came from . . . . . . But, I was a girl guide in a past life.

PS I thought you'd be giving me an awful row for using the dripping!!! Like the good Wifie I am, I will be dishing out the Rennies before beddybies. Once in a Blue Moon I do the bad stuff . . . . . But, hell it's good.
