An American series I can recommend is Traveler , from 2007 and only 8 episodes . It can be found on YouTube . We watched all 8 over 2 evenings , this week .

Just watched the last episode last night (2 nights the whole lot like you) - good entertainment - shame that ABC pulled the plug after 2 seasons - the story is/was clearly not over yet and had the potential to go on for quite a number of additional seasons. We liked Scandal a lot which went on for 7 seasons and that someone downloaded for us from somewhere. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scandal_(TV_series) - Bush era Washington.
