Paphos police arrest child pornography suspect

Police in Paphos have arrested a 62-year-old man on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography.

The man was arrested on Friday lunchtime after officers searched his home and seized two computers, two external hard drives, two memory cards, and a mobile phone.

A preliminary examination of the equipment found a number of archives containing child pornography, police said.

The equipment was undergoing further examination by the cyber-crime unit.
