That's my 2 good deeds for the day :-)
This was my first and the second was finding a route to Alicante from UK by train for a guy with a phobia of flying - at a cost he was happy to pay. Took a few goes, but I got there in the end. :geek:

Jules- my dear wife always suffered from a phobia of flying. It was always a quick trip down town to our GP, who would prescribe her 'happy pills' for the outward and return flight legs. Did the trick!
Gone but not forgotten...

Yeah, he's tried all sorts apparently and is only a youngish guy.... was happy to help.
He's tried the pills and also tried biting the bullet and just going for it but said it made such a mess of his holiday for the first few days and again at the end when he knew he had to come back, he just can't do it any more :-(

There is something to be said for travelling by rail though.... it's certainly given me food for thought and I spent a nice couple of hours exploring various European routes with the Man In Seat 61 this afternoon.

Ahhhh, you can't take the travel out of this girl :-)
