Thank you Max- magnificent pictures. I believe the first two pictures are of cirrus clouds, with the "feathering" caused by high altitude winds near the jet stream. The second two certainly look more like dust. The past week or so I have seen the curious sight of persistently lingering con-trails, and was expecting the usual outbreak of the conspiracy theorists with their nutty ideas!
I hope you are feeling better.
Jon.
Max, once again, thank you for such lovely photos - very impressive, especially as you are currently suffering from man flu. Get well soon - drink lots of hot water with honey and lemon, or alternatively hot water with whisky. The latter drink does nothing to cure your flu, but if you drink enough of it, you won't care!
Kay Those who do not like cats, must have been mice in a former life!
Beautiful shots once again thanks, Max! I wish you a speedy recovery from that horrible flu...
Your final zoom shot showing the full disk of the rising Sun over the wind farm is interesting. I predict that this same region of sky is where you will find the Full Moon rising on the evening of 2nd January, just after Sunset.
Thank you all for your get-well wishes. This confirms that people are indeed reading the text above my pics

I put a lot of Marathounda honey in sage tea from wild sage growing in my garden (Cypriot cold remedy) and use honey all year instead of sugar in my drinks.

I have always problem with drinking straight water, but a proper Irish coffee (or two) after dinner is something I enjoy..
