The mayor of Yeri, Neophytos Papalazarou, was admitted to the Nicosia general hospital on Thursday morning after being beaten by a truck driver....

I know this isn't Paphos but it demonstrates that some Cypriots do care about illegal dumping. Here's wishing the mayor a speedy recovery.
