Hi
A lot of my Cypriot friends went along with joining the EU because they were led to believe that they had a better chance of getting the north of the Island back.Since the EU actions regarding the banking crisis they are now very anti EU.

Where theres money, you will find corruption, in every corner of the planet, sadly the UK especially the Met Police was riddled with bent coppers, theres a film called the Bank job based on a true story thats worth seeing....Cyprus has it fair share of corrupt officials, unfortunately a few members take pleasure in pointing that out at ever opportunity on here, conveniently choosing to forget how corrupt things are back home.
