I thought Swansea might get it. We visited there during the summer and were pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful city it was with so much going on. However, well done Coventry. Jim will be pleased. He might even visit :lol:

My home city, not sure how it gained this status Capital of Culture? what culture is this? but it needs some cheer as the city is and still is in the doldrums, I wish it well of course not that I will be returning anytime soon.

Jim you would not recogise the place.Student apartments every where you look

Perhaps we have to move on & recognise that this is where the culture bit comes in

I miss thae days as a student walking along gosford street to the city centre & popping in for a half pint at many pubs ending at the Golden Cross
