Does anyone have any experience of the Peltier-effect type of fan (or other type, for that matter) which sits on top of the stove and circulates warm air.
They look a bit ugly, but appear to be quite effective, according to reviews.
Fans for log burning stoves
Re: Fans for log burning stoves
We have one of these fans, our room is around 40 sq meters and the room feels more evenly heated.
It's only a small one.
If you get one place it at the back corner of the stove so as not to get to hot, if you put it in the middle then you will damage it.
Look on Ebay as there are very few on the island and costly here.
Saw one the other day at €70, we got our delivered for £36 from the UK.

Re: Fans for log burning stoves
Many thanks, Paul. Appreciate the helpful reply. We only have room for a small fan, and then only at the back, so it sounds a good move!
