Don’t go! Massive problem with tills, apparently it’s all their stores in Cyprus. We were met at the entrance by a member of staff saying there was only 1 till in operation & to wait in the queue, which was all round the store, would take about 2hrs!!

Re: Lidl
I've used the place a few times, but not anymore.. The amount of time you spend queuing, even on a normal day, just isn't worth it for me.

Anybody know if they got it sorted?

Re: Lidl
Depends which branch you go to. The one on the Polis Road usually opens up extra counters very quickly, whilst the one in Limassol does not respond to length of queues. All depends on the management of the individual branches. Don't know about the TOTK branch though.Fisherman Phil wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2017 3:20 pm I've used the place a few times, but not anymore.. Re: Lidl
Our Lidl in Colwyn Bay opens tills very quickly. Also they have the same lady, announcing in English, that till number 5 is now opening. However, unlike Cyprus, till number 5 opens almost immediately after the announcement.

Re: Lidl
At the Tombs Lidl I had never a problem as they open very quickly a new counter when there are more than 4 people waiting. But on the other hand I go only on a Saturday early morning...No Schools - no traffic
