UK Prime Minister Theresa May has said Donald Trump was "wrong" to retweet posts from a British far-right group.
But she stressed the "special relationship" between Britain and the US was "in both our nations' interests" and should continue.
And she rejected calls to cancel a state visit by the US president.
Speaking on a visit to Jordan, she said: "An invitation for a state visit has been extended and has been accepted. We have yet to set a date."

Why is Britain First big online?
Quizzed about Mr Trump's tweets, she said: "The fact that we work together does not mean that we're afraid to say when we think the United States has got it wrong, and be very clear with them.
"And I'm very clear that retweeting from Britain First was the wrong thing to do."
On Wednesday the US president retweeted three videos posted by the British far-right group.

I heard a good debate on Five Live this morning with Nicky Campbell. The conclusion was, let Trump come for a visit to the UK, but don't suppress protests from him and the oxygen he thinks he's getting will suffocate him.
An American caller, who now lives in Manchester, says all her family back home voted Trump and when she visited the states, as he couldn't believe how different the media broadcasts were about him compared to the BBC.
She said that in the US, Trump has managed to fire fear about immigration, border control and islamic terrorism and the people really believe they are in dire threats of terrible consequences and only Trump is dealing with it. (Sounded a bit like Farage, Johnson and Gove to me)
On the one hand Trump criticises parts of the US media for spreading 'false' news and on the other his tweet contained just that....'false news'. The man is a hypocrite and not fit to be president.
We were watching live parliament this morning and nearly all MPs of all parties were giving Amber Rudd a hard time demanding that his state visit is cancelled. Amber was being very diplomatic stating that no date had been agreed for his visit but also virtually saying that we have no problems with the USA as a nation and wanted to preserve that close relationship. One minister suggested that due to a royal wedding and a royal birth next year they could use that as an excuse to still not give a date!
I think that the population of the USA are a bit backward. A bit thick. Poorly educated.
The problem seems to be the size of the place and the diversity of its citizens.
No different really to Russia and China.
It is impossible to govern, manage a country that size. To have a standard of education. The result being that whole sectors of the population miss out.
There are any number of examples.
When asked to vote, is it any wonder that thry make bad choices.
I think that better educated citizens are the ones who live on either west or east coasts, most of the population in the middle (mid west), especially the working class who voted for him are not the brightest.
Promises of jobs in dead mining towns etc, hasn't yet shown any sign of deliverance.

Mate the dumbest people I came across in the states were from L A...most of them were in La la land, isnt that on the West coast?, Trump was voted in because many Americans had become angry at the stench of the so called Washington elite looking down at your average Joe....personally given the choice of Hillary Clinton or Trump, I would of voted Trump all day long.
It is up to the yanks who they have as president. They voted Trump and they can keep him. His rudeness to Theresa May is not the way a world leader should behave and, of course, the pending visit should be cancelled as a protest. Unfortunately, Theresa may follows in a long line of PMs who just can't stand up to the USA, and instead roll over and do what they are told. Lets face it, all she has said is that he "was wrong". Big deal. For goodness sake, get angry woman.
Much is said of the special relationship between the two countries. I have heard it compared to that between an owner and their poodle. Personally I think it is more like the one between the poodle and a lamp post.

I lived and worked in LA for 18 months, and although I met a lot of 'air heads' as they where called back then, most people I met were well educated.
Over 60% of Californians voted for the Democrats in the last election, as it is the richest state in the richest country, they must be doing something right.
