Re: easyJet
As are all flights to Cyprus from UK airports with easyjet. Just booked our return in from Cyprus at the end of September and our coming out the week before half term in October. September flights still dear, paid over £80 but got October for £47.
Their website was extremely slow. Kept crashing, saying something went wrong. When I finally got to the payment page, after waiting ages for all the other pages to load, I made my payment. Then, the site came up with "Sorry, something went wrong"
I then went through the booking process again, but noticed the seats I had previously selected had been taken. Too much of a coincidence, so I checked my email, and, lo and behold, there was an email from sleazy with my booking confirmation.

Re: easyJet
John, I find using the web page is better than the app on my tablet. I kept checking both at 10 minute intervals and the app said my dates not available but they were available on the website.
Re the seats. I had to change my return flight from December to this Friday. I did it 35 days before my return flight. If you have booked seats EJ are supposed to try and find you the same or something close. After I had paid my receipt stated that I had not chosen any seats so they would be allocated on check in. I panicked and went back on and booked seats (the seats I wanted were not available)and paid again.
Got onto EJ and they refunded the seat money for my original booking but no explanation. Very fast purchase this morning.

Re: easyJet
I was on a pc, Rosemary tried on a tablet with no luck. The pc version came out before the android version but for us the process was very slow, with the website taking over a minute to load each page and then coming out with the something went wrong page around three times before I finally got to the payment page.
And then when I got to the payment page, and agreed to pay, it still told me something had gone wrong, but it hadn't and they had taken my payment and reserved my seats.
As we fly a few times a year, we are members of their frequent fliers club. We can change bookings without being charged, but still have to pay the price difference. Came in useful when I could not fly out in February because it was less than 6 weeks after my operation and in September when we had to alter our flights because of family bereavements. Also, our stay in November was cut short as we had another bereavement.
Twice, when we have changed our flights, there have been no seats available together, so last time we flew back, was on the window seat on one side of the plane and Rosemary was on the window seat on the other side.

Re: easyJet
Just had an email from friend in Bristol and it sounds like he had the same problem as you. He was booking as soon as they were released as well. Site must be overloaded.
I went on the Google browser on my tablet and it worked fine. Might not next time of course

Currently, easyJet's site is a joke. Here I am at 02:50 GMT in the morning, getting the "Sorry, something went wrong" message from them, after three attempts. Grrrrrrr....

Re: easyJet
I have found easyjets website a nightmare at times! Whether using my laptop or iPad, especially if it is busy. I find it unnesessarily complicated too. Why does it try to side track me with things that I don't want like booking a hire car or a hotel.... surely options like that should be available when you have booked your flight!
And if anything goes wrong, it throws me off the page I am working on by sending me back to the beginning, to the page where you are making initial selection of your flight, which by then is more expensive 2nd time around!

Re: easyJet
I have just done an online check in on the easyjet site, with no problems at all. I did get the option to alter my booking by adding Hotel or car hire, but just skipped to the next page.

Re: easyJet
The APP has been updated. That is probably why there are issues. Use the website, it works fine.
Booked my September trip. I hurried because there was only 2 seats left

but I got them for 65 gbp.Not bad.
We have flown Easyjet now for the past 10 years and we have never had an issue with them. We did break down once, faulty electrics. However, they fixed us up with a new plane, they diverted a plane from Zurich, refunded our fare and compensated us without even asking. We were 5 hours delayed but it did not cause any hardships.

Ryanair just the same. We tried for nearly 2hours to get a flight to Kraków for next year.
First it wouldn't accept our Cyprus bank cards then when we got to paying now on an English credit card it just froze.
Went on site agin flights had gone up by ten euros each, my husband was so fed up by this time, we said that's it we are not going.
Two days later tried again, straight forward all done in a few minutes but flight had gone up another ten euros and we paid on our Cyprus bank card!!!
