As promised, here are a few photos of the little publicised Roman Theatre which can be found behind Fabrica Hill on the way down to the harbour!
This first photo is taken from the left side of the site off Ayiou Ayapitikou Street not far from the Ancient Ottoman Baths. There has been a lot of digging activity around here over the last few months but it looks to have finished for the time being!
The next photo shows the Theatre itself from the same side.
The 3rd photo shows a better view of the Theatre but this time from the opposite side. You can get access to this side by going down the road to the harbour & taking the left turn after the one signposted for the Solomoni Catacombs.
Finally, I have included a photo from further down Ayiou Ayapitikou Street nearer St Pauls Pillar where a lot of work is being carried out including new walls, paths & possibly more walkways!

Re: For PaphosAL
Thank you Shane, very informative, this was actually missing in Dominic's blog. I guess that they are interconnecting all these interesting places from the Mall until St.Pauls pillar.

Nice pics Shane. You are right, it isn't widely advertised. No doubt it will get its own blog at a later date.

Shane- do you consider this Roman Amphitheatre to be on the same Fabrica Hill archaeological site please (as I do)?
