And of course the January date for your hearing test is one reason why people go down the 'Private' route for a large range of medical problems.

Just an update on this.......

Went to a hearing aid centre and had an Audiogram done.

Then responded a marketing email that I received from a UK company called HearingDirect ( no space between the words)

Their hearing aids, fully programmed to my Audiogram ( I need 2), came to £236 per side. They emailed me an invoice. I paid with the ca red over the phone, and they progress rammed and dispatched same day.

I needed at least one urgently ( the puppy had chewed one of them ), so they delivered by FedEx at an additional cost of £20,

Ordered Monday. Received tracking updates by email, Andreas a phone call on Thursday morning from FedEx just off the Polis Road, to ask me to come and collect.

Brilliant service, both aids programmed separately to my Audiogram, and I'm now able to hear my wife's instructions once again.
