Is this the children's art work etc for City of Culture that's gone Lincoln?
I'm out Thursday and was looking forward to seeing these :(
It was also going to be an incentive to walk from the Harbour to Lighthouse Beach every morning.
I may not miss that...

We have our daughter, Son in Law and Grandchildren here on holiday and I told them about the children's paintings along the walk to the Harbour. We went yesterday afternoon only to find them stacked up by the wall at the end of the walk. Very disappointed.
Still a nice walk then back to Gustoso for a lovely meal.

We noticed that the coffee shop HOBO's has gone Kaput finished. All items gone. After stroll around the front we decided to get a bus to Coral Bay. It was a terrific journey and at only €1.50 per person well worth it. Wandered around and then got the bus back, so we could drive home.
Whilst walking along the sea front I took a photo with my phone of the only item left on display all the others have gone.
This one is the POPPY. Unfortunately it is too large to be accepted on here never mind. :D (By the way I do not want to take the route of doing reductions of pictures in order to show them.)
When you reduce a picture's size, you don't cut out a smaller section and post that. The whole image gets reduced. There is no point posting a picture which is 4000 pixels wide as nobody will be able to see it all, and it will probably look fairly grainy too.

When you shrink it to 1000 pixels, you ensure that people all tablets etc can see the image too.

Shame I missed the kid's pictures though. I had been meaning to photograph them for a blog. Oh well... :)
