Yes, I bought that paper this morning and read that bit. Interestingly, a cheque book sent by my UK bank which went 'missing' last July, was returned to me this morning at the post office when I went in to check my PO Box. The envelope had been slit open at some time, but my cheque book was still inside it.Presumably the man who has been charged now had a look but as it was of no use to him he left it alone.
Unfortunately,by now the cheques had long been cancelled by me so it is redundant.

Got a letter dated 25/8/2015 today from UK not opened or no markings must have been of no interest to him it was from NS&I could have been a cheque live in hope.

we got a phone call from a building society re: a letter posted July 2015 regarding action on said account! the customer service never noticed the date until we got our files out and told him when the letter was sent! we had made a note of no reply, then forgot about it ourselves!
