It's been many years since we registered at the General and things have changed.
Our neighbour has just received his medical card, and now needs to get a prescription book.
If there is anyone who has been through this procedure recently and is willing to give us step by steps instructions that we can pass on, we would be most grateful.
Thanks in advance

At the registration desk, just mention this is your first visit,
and show the medical card to receptionist.
You should receive a file + prescription book.
You will possibly have to see a GP! & pay eu3.
Here's some info from years ago........... It may help.

As Memory Man says, just tell them at the registration desk that you need them both. You don't need to make a separate trip, your friend just needs to do it when he next needs to see a doctor..
