Shouldn't that read "right of way" at this intersection"? At least that's what it means in Germany
In the UK it means crossroads ahead, the priority of which would be determined by the class of road, eg an "A" road would have priority over a "B" road, etc.

Interesting. I´d never have thought that the same sign can mean something different in a different EU-country. How would you know whether a given road is an "A" or a "B" road?
