I just hope that this isn't the tip of the 'transition period' iceberg, that it's used over and over, so that we actually never see Brexit. I would like to see Brexit happen in my life time, but I'm beginning wonder if there is a true word spoken in jest here.

Brexit Stumble? Another 2 years on top of 2019....

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

There you go again HIC rubbishing the UK but you still want all the benefits of being a UK citizen!! I do so wish that people would get behind this Government and help them make a success of BREXIT. Trying to pick fault at every turn is only playing to the EU as well you all know but then you can always say I told you so!!

It's impossible for everyone to get behind the Government regarding Brexit.... The referendum results showed that only a little over 50% of the people were behind it over 18 months ago. I doubt much has happened to change their minds since then....

The usual suspects blaming the usual suspects for brexit being prolonged and not going to plan....
To state the obvious, Labour’s policy is to go for Brexit, just as the Conservative policy is.... that’s why May had NO reason to go to the polls to gain support. She narcisticly wanted TOTAL control, that’s why she went to the polls. Nothing to do with getting votes carried on Brexit - as labour are behind brexit as policy. Only the Lib-Dems and Nats are opposed to brexit.
Here we are, more than a year down the line and not much further forward. We have created animosity towards the EU and when they reciprocate, we blame them.

Evidence of this, or even reporting, please....
Strange, as many would have liked Corbyn to be a Remainer, but he isn’t. If he had had the Labour Party at the last election, on a remainer policy, he may very well have won....

Hudswell, maybe I’m thicker than I thought I was, but I can’t see the relevance of the two posted links - shows nothing to determine anything other than what I said about Corbyn supporting Brexit....
As to the student votes, where is ANY evidence Corbyn was behind any of this..?

You vehemently oppose but you declined to vote against it. It really says it all does it not?

Lloyd there is a vast difference between having an opinion and being vehemently opposed as well you know!
I cannot for one minute understand that someone who is vehemently opposed to anything, not just BREXIT, does not take the opportunity when it is offered to change it.
Please do not come back as you usually do to say one voice would not have changed anything because if everyone who felt the same as you had voted then we would not have been having this conversation.
Actions speak louder than words and I really never saw you as a defeatist but there you are!
