Yesterday I heard a nice report in German TV about Norway, the leading country in the World concerning electric cars, with now 42% of registered cars on their roads are electric or hybrids. And the best of it is that the electricity for it comes from renewable energies and is cost free, beside other benefits from the Government, like no 25% VAT on new cars, with the result that electric cars are cheaper than conventional ones.... but watch the interesting video..

I was just watching another video from Norway's electric car stories, which shows that all the worries about charging time is already solved there. As soon as Cyprus wakes up on this matter and the first Teslas are on the road, I believe many Cypriots with some money, sitting in a coffee shop, showing off with their new cars in front of it, while getting the batteries charged. (maybe paid by the owner of the coffee shop as a frappe could cost 4 Euro or more, why not
) Or you sit at a petrol station (hopefully with a lot of PV on their roof) and wait until your nice new car gets proper cleaned inside. It would be an idea for Lidl's shops to get your car charged while shopping. There are 100th of Lidl shops in Germany which produce the electricity from PV - why not in Cyprus in future
