Stroumbi Petrol Station

For those who may not be aware, today is the last day of manned operation of the petrol station, self service as usual tomorrow, until the petrol station closes for a major refurbishment on Monday - lasting until late October. Paphos to Polis is a long way if you're relaying on a top up there!

Work includes new double skinned tanks, new pumps, extending the canopy, a coffee area and reform of the shop. I guess they'll do a countdown to completion like they did with the Mesogi one last year.

Thanks for that info Ian, I was not aware of it even though that is where I fill up. I will see if I can get 50 euros worth this morning

No problem Trevor, I went yesterday, Panicos is looking forward to a break.

Yes I have just asked him about his Holiday He says he needs to be there the first and last week but in between is not so important. I filled the car right up from just one quarter full. So three quarters of a tank cost me €62 !!!!
