Thanks to Flossie, for first alerting us here on PL (as OP) to this sad train of events!

Thanks to Lloyd, for so proactively picking up on it, in his inimitable fashion!

Let's pray that Stephan's new employer actually pays him for his long hours of hard graft each week, and that he now has a roof over his head...

Flossie's OP had a Cyprus News link regarding this sad case. In it's footer, it invited readers to donate to Stephan via Cyprus News, which was nice of them. I wonder what that brought in, donations wise?

All the Best, good people- AL :)

Happy in Cyprus wrote: Fri Sep 08, 2017 6:12 pm Actually Al I received a phone call this morning from Nadia, confirming that Stephan has now found a job, albeit a temporary one. Nevertheless she sounded confident that Stephan was now on the road to recovery in his fortunes...and insisted that she return the money which I and you had donated. I did try to clarify that Stephan didn't have further need of it...but she was quite firm. So I will get this back to you over the weekend, Al.

All's well that ends well. A happy outcome :)
He sounds quite a man. I certainly wish him all the best.
