Location or Direction Advice please

Can anyone please confirm whether the Bus Station in the old town for buses to Larnaca/Nicosia is still functioning or were they re-directed whilst the road works were in progress?. If the latter can anyone please direct me to their new location. I am having friends coming over on my own return to Cyprus who will be taking a bus from Larnaca airport so will need to meet them.

Also can anyone tell me where the new car park in the old town is (I dont mean the one by the old Turkish Baths that hill is too steep for me these days). I need to get to the Bank of Cyprus on the corner opposite where the school used to be and when I was last that way it was somewhat blocked off but am hoping most of the works have been completed now.

The buses running from the old town bus station have been operating all the time.
There is a very large new car park opposite the Bank of Cyprus, but I don't know where the entrance is.

Hi Trev,
Yes the bus station is still in the same place, it didn't move. Though at times it was a bit difficult to access!
The new car park in the old town is quite easy to find - if you know where to look! Drive to Deb's roundabout and take the dual carriageway towards town (towards Makarios head statue). Drive into town, turning right at the road just before the old Police Station. The car park will be on your left side, behind the old police station. It is well marked out and easy to see.

Thank you very much Trev for that information. I have been in the UK since beginning of July (and still am) so was wondering if the road/uplifting work has been completed in that area. I am due back this week-end so will take a look where the car park you mention is. Thank you once more.

I think you will find that all the old car parks are open and F.O.C.

Perhaps it's also worth mentioning that some roads have been changed to one way only, For example, from Papantoniou there is no right turn at the lights before BOC.
