Elmlea/Fresh Cream

Post by Suetal »

Hi
Can anyone advise me as to where I can buy some proper fresh cream or happy to use Elmlea long life cream, I am having problems whipping up the chilled cream I buy and find its not a good product anyway.
Thanks in advance

I buy the 40% fat Lanitis cream in the plastic bottle. Not always easy to find but by far the best for whipping etc. Have seen it in Philippos recently.

I agree it's the best available here but Lanitis do exaggerate on the quantity of added emulsifier: OTOH, if you split a sauce, it can save the situation!

My wife uses 'Milac' whipping cream from Paps near the harbour.
