I lived in Aberdeen for a number of years and recognise all the words but there is 2-3 that I can't remember what they mean. I guess it's an age thing....

Worryingly, there's a group of us heading up to Oban in a couple of months for a long weekend.... If they start speaking to me like that I'm reverting straight to Greek. That should be a bit of a giggle

Oban is on the west coast of Scotland and they speak Gaelic.

Yeah, we stuck to the west side because the east side of our coastline is always bloody freezing
But we intend to see a lot more of Scotland in the future. The scenery looks absolutely stunning. So we shall see how our first little trip by coach goes....

The price for 4 days (3 nights) including half board, evening entertainment with 4 drinks vouchers on the Saturday evening and an excursion plus all our travel thrown in is £91pp. My mum has a twin room to herself at no additional supplement too!

I think I can muddle through the language mire for that. There's even a distillery to visit within walking distance from our hotel
