Don't you allow PDF file uploads up to a maximum size, Dom? :?

They aren't images. It isn't a question of not allowing them, but they aren't images. They may contain images, but they are embedded in the .PDF file.

Yep its a PDF and tried to see if it would load but no. cannot changed the extension from .img to pdf either. Its just the hunters map of Cyprus with areas, the types of birds and the periods they can legally be shot during.

Plenty of pubs in the Upper Thames Valley in Oxfordshire would have Crow Pie or Rook pie on the menu in the shooting season, in fact we used to be permitted to shoot Rooks on the nest if I remember things correctly.

You will find that there is no scientific evidence that Crows & Magpies affect song bird numbers! Most song birds have 2-4 broods a year to combat their losses from predation but what they can't cope with is the loss of habitat caused by human expansion, & the hunters of course!

You might be trying to add this pdf as an 'Image' to your post maybe? Instead (in full editor mode), scroll down the edit screen and click on the [Attachments] button. Then grab it from your PC to attach, as a proper pdf file!

Cheers- AL :)

Don't try and add PDF files as image files. They aren't image files.

Presumably you downloaded the PDF file from somewhere? Just post a link to the page you downloaded it from.

Sorry Dom, I see the problem here now. Invalid file extension (pdf). Please fix?

As Dom said... Just post a link to the pages.
Or take a screen shot and post that as a picture.

There is nothing to fix. A pdf file isn't an image file. It is as simple as that.

Just seen on Facebook that some low life in a metallic blue 4 x 4 is around Tremithusa and Tala shooting at cats and pretty much anything that moves, not good, keep your pets in.

So sad, nothing that flies is safe really! Also lock up your dogs and cats. They make easier targets than birds, being larger and usually much slower, if not recumbent...

Even road signs can be useful for target practice!

Apologies for my Attachments mix-up Dom. My 'other life' is co-Admin on a UK Satellite and Cable board (hosted very speedily and fast from an ex Cold War nuclear bunker deep under Riga in Latvia. L3 in terms of servers, power supply etc. We've never had a single outage in the past two years!) PM me if you'd like more info...

So our UkCvs.net board allows for (size-limited) files in .zip .rar .pdf .txt .diff format and so on. I think PL you have set for images ONLY (.jpg and maybe more formats, again, size limited?)

No probs with that, and sorry for the confusion on my part! AL :)
