Can anyone help me please. MOH has somehow turned the voice on, on his Acer tablet. He is unable to turn it off, and quite honestly it's driving me nuts. Please can anyone tell me how to turn it off. To make matters worse, the voice has an American accent !!

You should be happy that it is not German (which you seem to hate with a passion) 
Try the "accessibility" options (designed to help those with poor eyesight). This should be in the control panels somewhere - never had an Acer tablet.

Slightly off topic, I don't hate anything with a passion. You are totally wrong in your assumption, I think that Germany is a beautiful country and I understand some basic German, but I don't like the way that Angela is a self styled ruler of Europe, which includes the UK.
