Yes, indeed a fascinating read thanks, Dominic. It makes you wonder how many other clever 'in-house' inventions have been hushed up by the inventor's employees as being potentially harmful to their own greedy corporate self interests?

The follow-on article about the Russian nuclear submarine captain makes interesting reading, as well. It shows just how close we came to an all out nuclear WW3 back at the time of the Cuban missile crisis in 1962...
