So sad when this happens. Have they put it on Facebook? There is a Lost & Found in Paphos group.

Actually probably Kili is one of the safer villages for animals, in that it is well away from all main roads, since the Polis Rd is at least 3 km distant and from the village just two tortuous country lanes run sharply downhill with serious bends down to Kamares, and thence to Tala. But they aren't heavily used, most through traffic sticking to the faster Polis Rd down to Paphos.
Thus dogs tend not to be stolen, more likely have just escaped the garden and gone for a walkabout!
There is possibly the chance of a snake bite or at some times of the year them picking up some rat poison if they are straying unsupervised.
Am glad to hear that the wandering pooch has returned safely!
