Maybe try to use the Greek word for it: That is Αραρόυτι to be pronounced as ARARUTI.

AlphaMega does a good selection of wheat and dairy free produce, including a variety of flours. They have their own aisle in the downstairs, near the shampoo. I haven't seen Arrowroot there, but I haven't looked for it there either. If I was looking for some, that is where I would start.
