Anyone know where you can buy these ? We used to be able to get them in Alphamega but they no longer have them it would appear.

In Polis Paps, they keep them within the fresh vegetable area, on a shelf against the wall next to the bakery. I can also testify to the fact that they are yummy!

We got them in IKEA Nicosia a while ago - they were better than any other we ever had.

If I may be so bold to ask, but what sort of recipes call for dried crispy onions? Just about every recipe I read that involves onions invariably states to heat the saucepan with a little oil, throw the sliced onions in and cook for a few minutes until they are soft and golden, then start adding the rest of the ingredients...
