Take responsibility to keep Cyprus clean

A couple of weekends ago, a big party was organised on Phinikoudes beach. The organisers secured the permits from the municipality and held the event until the early hours of the morning, with a DJ and lots of drinking and dancing....

What a surprise said no one ever. Have the organisers been approached to pay for the clean up? My guess is not, but I'd love to be wrong.

I confess I clicked on your link, and being in a slight rush thought what a small article! i've just read full piece and feel saddened that this is happening. Such a beautiful island being treated like this.

I liked the article, because it laid a lot of the blame firmly on the shoulders of the people who actually caused it - the party goers themselves.
