Permanent Partition?

In that's case, the North will. I longer be part of the EU, UNLESS RoC and other European members recognise the North as a separate state AND the EU allows the new state to join the EU.

Otherwise there will need to be manned crossing points with passport control and the North residents will be ineligible for EU movement.
In other words no change; there are manned crossing points with passport controls now!
Geoff.
Yes, but TCs will lose EU passports
True - in that no new EU passports will be available to TCs. However, it is my understanding that TCs already holding EU passports will be able to renew them when they expire, and that they will remain valid until then.

For WHL:
Sorry no link, but my source is one of the SBA Crossing Point guards. They are usually well briefed so as to be able to do their job correctly.
However, you were suggesting a few days ago that the GCs would close the crossing points. Where did you get that one from?
