Don't know if in other parts of Paphos district was the same weather phenomenon than in my place up the hills of Tsada Golf: temperature dropped for a sudden more than 10 C from 32 C the nights before to comfortable 22 C. So 5.30 am, I opened all door and windows to get the boiling heat out of the house. To boost that as there was not much wind I switched on my largest pedestal commercial fan in front of the large sliding door and the indoor temperature dropped a lot. As soon as my weather station indicates that outdoors temperatures are higher than indoors I will stop the fan and close the house completely. This way one can save a lot of energy when you switch on the air-cons later on. All you need is a small weather station and a strong fan. (Station was sold at Lidl's for ca 24 Euro last Christmas and fan 150 Euro!)

Re: Night temperature drop of >10c
It has dropped 6°C here over last 24 h 10:00 to 10:00. Not such good news, the RH has risen from 22% to 48% in the same period. Even the current 32.0°C feels almost as uncomfortable as the higher temperature yesterday and water is joyously trickling out of my office aircon (yes, I need it with 4 computers running in a small room). FYI, my main weather computer is a Chinese microcomputer 24/7 18 W, but my secondary weather computer is an ordinary desktop, each connected to a different weather station. My other computers are switched off at night.
