My personal opinion is that this article in the CYMail has very interesting environmental aspects...

The Eastern Med gas won't be left stranded even if the pipeline to Europe remains a distant dream due to Putin's interference and or other reasons. Egypt is a logical sink (for domestic usage) plus has spare lng capacity as well.

Turkey as a very large plant for liquefying gas.... could be part of talks...

We are building a new LNG plant and refurbishing an existing Gas Plant just outside Alexandria . There's a lot of new gas finds off the Egyptian coast.

What do you mean by "LNG plant"? A liquefaction facility for shipping?

Yes. There is talk of Gas from the Aphrodite field being pumped to the Plant via the Egyptian Taurus field.
