SNP
SNP
Have just been watching Parliament and the new SNP chap ( can't remember his name) seems determined to thwart anything that the tories want to get through. It seemed that he was encouraging labour to join them to make it very difficult for the tories and still kept on how Scotland had not voted for BREXIT. He actually appeared to suggest that SNP had won the election.Well all I can say is if they are going to try to bring this country to its knees then let them leave the UK and as it affects England,Ireland and Wales as well then let us all have a vote on whether or not they stay or go.
Re: SNP
RW my thoughts exactly, we should have an English Parliament, with only English M.P.s, and no other nation to have a say in what we do. Strangely for Nicola, she's been a bit more subdued since she lost so many seats in the election.

Re: SNP
I actually believe there needs to be regional control over many things. The north of England still loses out to London-centric the king, funding and bias. We are creating a behomoth in the south that could ruin the rest of the country. When boris was mayor, he even said every pound the uk spent should be in London and the south and then the other regions would benefit (from scraps off the table)
London cannot function much longer as housing increases in cost, social housing disappears and lower paid workers either live in appalling conditions or travel for hours to service their masters.

Aww Jim, a Dickens quote surely??? Ah, hang on, I'm pretty sure I've heard Corbyn and McDonnell reciting this mantra, several times.
You do disappoint me Jim. Some originality would be good! Along with some honesty!

Re: SNP
I said that to catch a fish. I knew you'd bite.
That's the only part of my post that's at all like that, but you like nothing better than being the right-wing predictable you are

Re: SNP
Hmm, takes one to know one Jim, dyed in the wool leftie socialist that you are, shame on you. 'I said that to catch a fish.......' pathetic, but sadly I expect nothing less from the Corbanista lemmings I'm afraid. May be better spending your time trying to convince us Tories just how much better the country would fare under Trotskyists like Corbyn and McDonnell. Not a hope in hell. Just like the end of the last Labour fiasco,a note left in the treasury saying 'there's nothing left" or words to that effect.
This note could have been left at the end of every labour government for about the last 100 years at least. Socialists, or Trotskyists, take your pic are spenders, not creators. So until they learn the art of creating wealth they will just go on doing what they do best - wrecking the country.
'That's the only part of my post that's like that' Get real Jim! Kidding yourself you really are!!

I never voted to labour, as it happens. However, there is nothing wrong with someone being a socialist. In fact, it is more honourable. As to financial management. You really are uninformed. Try looking at the UK debt now, compare to previously. Also, Cameron promised to reduce and wipe it out. Never happened. Since the Tories came to Power, it has almost doubled. At least Blair, who I despise, was affected by a worldwide recession. Cameron and May have no excuse. They’ve used austerity and still not balanced the books, despite promises. Shame on them.

Whilst you're a sweet little pussy cat that never posts anything objectionable?? Get real Jim, you do more than your share. You are a dyed in the wool leftie socialist, what's the problem? If not, what are you, this is the vein in which you constantly post, so what's objectionable about my post? Other than maybe you really don't like to see yourself as a dyed in the wool leftie socialist??
Jim, stop wasting bandwidth, accept what you are or post as who you really are. I see a Left wing leftie Socialist. If I'm wrong then show me where?
I can't actually get my head round this tripe, I'm a Tory, I post as a Tory, when possible I vote as a Tory, I support Tory policies, I applaud Tory ministers. What's difficult about that? Whats with the I'm not actually.........this, that, or the other. So what's wrong with openly supporting the political party with whom youre affiliated??
Why not cut the waffle and just come out as who you are?? Let me know when and I'll organise a trumpet fanfare!

Re: SNP
The difference between us, is I don’t hate anyone. You do. I dislike most Tory policies. I dislike people like Michael Gove. I don’t hate him. Nor do I hate teachers, lawyers or accountants. My daughter is a Chartered Accountant - as highly qualified as you can get.
My wife votes Tory and reads the Daily Mail. It would be hypocritical of me to ‘hate’ Tories!
Unlike yourself, I actually respect people of other political leanings. I respected Cameron more than Blair.
I would call myself a Social Democrat. I voted SNP as I didn’t want a Tory mp in my area. I have never joined any political party. I would say I have socialist morals, with capitalist realisms.
