What part of the world is Clearstream legal? it was illegal when I gave them a try it is no different just another way to get pirated UKTV..

Anyway back to this topic, it is your choice how you wish to receive pirated UKTV and if you live on the island there is little choice on how you do this, no matter if you pay or get it for free it is still pirated, I am happy to pay for a server to do this as I disliked Android devices, I gave them a try but I prefer the Sky type EPG, come the day we have to pay for a "legal service" I will gladly pay up as I have in the past, now lets move on from this pointless rhetoric.

Just to update what Lincoln has posted.
1. BOB from Noobsandnerds - currently changing servers after failure of the web hosting service they have used for some years. A new host has been identified and currently being worked on, the DB has been infected which is why it has been suffering DDOS attacks of late. The team are going through thousands of files to find the source of the problem.
2. ZEN (the Schism add on) has been taken over by Noobsandnerds and renamed Elysium and is working very well, it has been "converted" to use the NaNs scrapers which are an improvement upon those used by Exodus.
3. UKTurks - has moved his repository and you need to uninstall the existing add on, add his new url as a source and install afresh. The add on itself is identical and the live streams to include the UK channels so many want is currently working.
4. Streamtvbox.club is moving from its current repo and will auto update itself to its new host.

Stable effectively means that known bugs at the date of release of that version has been dealt with, and that any available enhancements have been included. It is always an on going process. Once a stable version is released then maintenance of the previous version stops, so therefore versions numbered 16.xxx etc are no longer maintained.

For those having problems loading new Krypton and may be Leai, have same problem,for some reason on 2 pcs and a laptop all fine but one PC stubborn as heck ,just wont have it...solution and pretty handy,install it on a usb stick samll 4gb is fine and works well just add shortcut to desktop from it and which ever one you plug it in it will work

Kodi box upgrades... use a sd card with the apk on it

now with certain upgrades you will notice some of the broken ones wont download but still work...streamhub is a good one if you can find site for it,Exodus still works and been renamed New Exodus.....

now PC users only ......... if you go, C:,Users- your pc name-App data-Roaming- Kodi ......all your repos are in there stored...save them somewhere else as many you wont be able to re download,when you reinstall a clean kodi just pop them back in ,bingo all restored

As for legality yes you can watch new stuff,thanks to ones who decided to add Sky Sports to it ,there the ones who naffed it ,most films are available anyway on youtube,as for Sky they have themselves to blame for an overpriced product and un loyalty to there customers,we had it for yrs cut down to basic package yet price kept rising before we said enough,we were paying nearly full package price for basic!

Out of curiosity updated my Fire tv box to the latest stable Kodi ,17.4 , last night. All works very well. I use Exodus for box sets not yet available on my mag box.

I have noticed BEIN sports are keeping up on the pirate streams, but soon overcome within 24 hours.

Stick with your paid supplier, it is within their interests to keep the streams up for you.

Nope, hate to disappoint, I actually live in a very content and happy world, and whilst I admit my viewing habits are not entirely legal...and some definite grey areas, I am at least not lining the pockets of thieves...The Article I posted was for information and may be useful for those considering the IPTV service they wish to use....now you may wish to bury your head in the sand but the writing is on the wall...legislation is changing, and technology is improving..and people are being convicted...

Hudswell, I am sure we all remember the advent of Casette tapes and the ability to record form Vinyl and the ensuing debates over legality. Since the quality was never great, it wasn't pursued vigorously by the music companies, such as Sony, however there was no doubt that everyone who 'illegally' recorded something for use, was 'stealing' from the artist and the company. There may not have been a specific law, I don't know. I do know a bloke, who used to sell tapes in a street market, complete with copied covers, who was prosecuted by the police. Prosecuting individuals would have been far too expensive.

In the era of CDs and DVDs and MP3s, suddenly, we had a medium that rivalled digital recordings and huge industries started that illegally distributed these copies.

Again, the copy companies, many of who were duplicating in large numbers professionally, were prosecuted. The 'users' thought they were free to use. FACT thought differently and prosecuted heavy-use individuals and even some kids, in test cases. It scared many but not enough. The lesson was, if it isn't right to do something, if morally you are depriving someone/company of income by taking their product, then morally and probably legally, you have broken a law, or at least you leave yourself exposed to a potential legal case.

Along comes IPTV. I agree wholeheartedly that IF the broadcaster got their acts together, then we would use this medium legally, paying the proper people. The companies, however, are slow to change. It took Steve Jobs and his power over the technology industry, to get music companies to agree to iTunes. We all thought it would fail and it didn't.

Has Jobs still been alive, I believe Apple would be a broadcaster of IPTV, due to his largest shareholding in Disney and power that entailed. He would have persuaded the broadcasters.

So, the streaming companies are definitely illegal. Many could be crooks, in terms of it being part of a large-scale criminal network. We, as subscribers, could therefore be funding these rings. Anyone paying is therefore morally wrong and possibly legally (in terms of laws) but certainly if any broadcaster so chose to do, they could prosecute an individual for watching a stream.

In Cyprus, I have a 3m dish for Sky. I would have paid legally if I could. I had to have a card from the UK like most others. I was breaking the law. If Sky found out, they would cut me off and could have prosecuted me.

This IPTV era is no different. Sky and others could easily prosecute individuals if they chose to do. They don't for many nay reasons, not least a detrimental effect on their already wobbly customer base. Sky is working on IPTV for itself. It will come. When it does, the choice will be legal or illegal. I will go legal, even if a lot more expensive. Some wont. They will be breaking a moral code and potentially a legal one.

You are kidding yourself on, Hudswell, if you think watching without paying is much better than paying a subscription. You are supporting the 'industry' whether through Kodi, iPlayer and VPNs etc.

I have used every means myself. Sky with 3m dish, guilty. Streams from iPod to Apple TV, guilty. XBMC from hacked Apple TV, guilty.IPTV, guilt. In fact, I have helped many people to be able to do the same! I would argue, I do it out of necessity. It's a very loose argument, like yours.

Got to laugh at some of the posts on here, poo pooing others for using Kodi, and then saying their own viewing habits are a ''grey area''....Hypocrites R us..
the genie is out of the bottle, it will not stop, as for the add ons they come and go, thats always been the case, ive got a few fantastic add ons where I can see any tv/film thats out there, crystal clear and with out buffering, as for sports I use Sportsmania £50 a year, for every sports channel on the planet, recently they forced the banks to stop taking payments from them..no problem we now pay for the service , using Bitcoin payment...Happy days
