There's a good App for the iPhone and I presume an Android one as well.... It tracks the Space Station so you can see it... Called ISS Spotter.

Found this interesting ISS subsistence-related fact on the NASA site:

4 tons of food required to support a crew of three for about six months (3,630 kg). The ISS crews' favorites include shrimp cocktail, tortillas, barbecue beef brisket, breakfast sausage links, chicken fajitas, vegetable quiche, macaroni and cheese, candy-coated chocolates and cherry blueberry cobbler. Lemonade is the most popular drink.

Which got me thinking... What do they do with all the pee and poo generated by the crew in this period? It must all go into a sealed tank via a vacuum and one-way valve system, but then what? So I've just sent an email to ISS @ NASA suggesting the following:

Every time the ISS passes directly overhead Assad's palace in Damascus Syria, or Kim's palace in Pyongyang, North Korea, PULL THE CHAIN and empty the tank in a downwards direction!

If any complaints are received from either tin-pot dictator, NASA need only to explain that they are trying to assist with natural organic fertilization of their countries...

Cheers- AL ;)

ps: I did volunteer my services as 'Chief Chain Puller' on a 6 months on / 6 months off rosta, but qualified this by adding that I would need the following to be included in the fridge / larder:
Stella Artois 5%
Goodfellas Pepperoni Pizzas
Pataks Chicken Madras and Basmati Rice
Halloumi, Lountza and salad submarine rolls with mayo
Gone but not forgotten...
