Poppy, the girls handing out our Ballot papers in the Methodist church hall made the mistake of telling her to "sit" and then gave her a biscuit. After that, she didn't want to move and sat to attention waiting for another. I was waiting for her rendition of "we shall not be moved"

As the vet said to us when we took our dog in for booster jabs last year "she's a bit on the chubby side isn't she?"

She's already on a diet..... she's lost 3kg so far but bless her, she's ten and a half years of age, lost her best pal a few months back (she was eating his uneaten food - hence the increase in girth) and had to travel 2,000 miles from the warmth to this place that the weather can't seem to do the same thing 2 days running.

She's loving the new life though! And everyone in the village knows our Ruby. A lady stopped us in the street today just as we left the house and asked if she was going voting, because the first time she met Ruby was during the May elections.

Possibly tomorrow we might think it would have been better if the animals HAD voted
Tbh I just posted that picture to see how easy it was on this site. It always seemed to be difficult on the other one.
For me anyway...I realise not you Jules.
