Where to get ??
Where to get ??
Hello All,
Needing your help please?
Brought over a couple of settees and a king size bed from the UK in the container.
As they have 'wheels' on and no carpets they move around the tiled floors.
Need to know where to by the 'gadget' (can not think of the right name for the item) to prevent the items moving?
Have already been LA DIY place in Peyia. Had thought about Jumbo's.
Any other places please?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Please excuse my pedantry
I wonder if a different subject title would attract a wider audience, although goodness knows what you could put????
Good luck

Go to Petoussis on the Polis road/Mesoghi ave, they sell door handles etc. Buy the same number of (pine) wooden cupboard door knobs as you need to replace all those casters, making sure they are the same height as the casters, or near enough. Drill the knob to the same width and depth as the caster stud. pull the caster off the stud and fit the knob on the stud. If necessary, add a little Superglue, carefully! The knob will be upside down when your furniture is right way up.
This is what OH did when we realised the caster cups we'd brought with us did not stay on, particularly when the divan bed needed to be moved so I could hoover up all the dust bunnies!

Clever bunny you've got a hold of there Kaye . ☹
Re: Where to get ??
Or you could buy a couple of large rugs in the January sales perhaps? It's much nicer to have a carpet to put your feet on in winter as the floor tiles feel so cold! Then the castors won't be a problem...

Went shopping today and found them.
Got them from Home Market Ltd in Anavargos.
20 small for €12.21. Caster Cups is the name.
Now on the settees and fit for purpose.
Well chuffed.
