I think if an artist tried to paint the sunsets people would have difficulty believing the colour was authentic.

Turner did quite a reasonable impression of a nice sunset over the Thames, 179 years ago, Dom. We must applaud him for that, I think? Not posting a piccy of that, as this is all about Paphos sunsets, ain't it?

Well the Paphos region, not just Paphos city!

I would imagine that there must be some stonking sunsets on the Akamas. I just wouldn't fancy driving back in the dark!

As the Sun sets behind the Akamas mountains there is not much color in pics when you live in the Polis area. Here one photo from my previous property at Argaka. :( :( not photoshopped as one can see) Max

Been going through my folder and found these two.

Taken from a friend's villa near the zoo back in November last year

I'm sure most of you here know where this was taken.

Totally agree Dominic - the one entitled "Pafos Sunset" by Stan is absolutely stunning!

Thanks, I always find the late autumn/winter months sunset sky are far more interesting than summer months cloudless sky.

There are some lovely sunset photos here, I am envious of quite a few of them!

Here are a couple of mine

This last one is a cheat/not real, since it is taken with using the "reflection" mode on my camera, but while I'm not normally keen on effects I do rather like how this one turned out. And the top half is real....
