Hi all,
Visiting Cyprus again last week in July for two weeks, 1 st visit during the summer months!!!! Can't wait...
Staying in a rented villa in Piaya ( ours not yet finished )
Any recommendations on places to eat around Payia?? We usually head to Coral Bay Resort for a couple of drinks and lunch pool side, so our 9 yr old can have a play in the pool...any thoughts on a similar hotel to visit for a change !!!!
Also any recommendations on a drive out day...beach front would keep our little one happy, but a nice place to also keep our inlaws happy..
Thanks for any info,
Days out....

I take it you mean Peyia? If so you're spoilt for choice, do a Google search....have a great holiday.

What sort of car will you have? If you have a 4x4 then the Akamas offers lots of possibilities. Bear in mind though, that in July, it will get very hot. You will be better off having an early start and exploring in the morning, or leaving it until later on in the day.
Alternatively, head off to the Troodos area. It is cooler up in the mountains.
Also, we list a number of family attractions around Paphos in our directory:

It's a nice drive to Pomos via Polis and Argaka. there is a small fishing harbour there,a nice little beach and a lovely fish restaurant so should please all and the drive there is stunning!

Drive to Argaka (turn right at Polis) and sit in the shade (or on the beach) at the Santa Barbara - beach for your 9 year old and food/drinks for all.
Alternatively, drive on a bit further to Pomos where there is a little fishing harbour, a pebbly beach and a taverna very popular with locals - it was very busy when we looked in there last time we were out and about in that direction.
Try Latsi/Latchi - there're plenty of good fish tavernas there, a harbour (have a boat ride) and beaches.
As a change from beach-based days, why not visit Kolossi Castle? Take the motorway (or the slower B road) to Erimi and follow the signs to Kolossi.
