Cyprus could be a very good provider of telemarketing and call centre work. Their pay levels being below most other European countries and ENglish being widely spoken. Now that the internet systems are decent, it would support cloud telephony making location transparent.

Well at least the actual building of it will bring employment to the area for a time. The Chinese may have some businesses already earmarked for the site.
