Unless I'm mistaken, Savile ruined many lives but didn't actually kill anyone (unless it could be proved that a victim committed suicide afterwards). If he had been convicted of his crimes, which were absolutely awful, he would have received a lighter sentence than Brady.
The two crimes aren't related. Brady was a psychopath . Savile was a paedophile. Completely different.
