Coming from The Mall, before you get to George's Opticians, there is a car park on the left, by a bank.
Park your car there, and cross the main road, heading towards the traffic lights. Soon you will see an alley going up the hill, with a hotel on one side of it. I believe there are signs there to the Muse, and if you walk up that alleyway, you will soon find yourself there.

Add to that the steps going up the alleyway have been drizzled with paint which is a giveaway! Beware though, the steps are steep & there are plenty of them!
The hotel signposted is Axiothea which is situated near Muse. Never fancied the steps as I thought I might look at wreck by the time I'd climbed up there!

You're certainly ready for a cold drink by the time you finally make it!

You make it sound like a mountain climb.

Up the stairs, on the left, in fact opposite the front door of the hotel, is the entrance to the pretty little municipal gardens. A nice spot to sit and relax, summer or winter. And it's home to the municipal art gallery.
